Yidabal Galii Maa is passionate about the revitalisation of our mother tongue. Bundjalung is the language of our ancestors and we seek to aide in its return through our range of picture books and teaching resources.
Yidabal Galii Maa is based in the beautiful Bundjalung region of Far Northern NSW. Our members are descendants of the Nyangbul clan which lies in the Ballina region just south of Byron Bay. We offer tours to a number of unique sites which have cultural significance to the Nyangbul clan and can provide our customers with a cultural experience involving bush tucker and survival skills.
Yidabal Galii Maa can provide a variety of workshops to suit the individual needs of our clients. We offer tool making, language, spear throwing, bush tucker, fire sticks, story telling, bush skills, and crafts.
